Adobe Introduces Focus Masks in Photoshop CC

Adobe introduces focus masks to Photoshop CC which allows artists to isolate items that have been shot with a shallow depth of field quickly and easily.

Photoshop CC Creative CloudFor someone who shoots a lot of imagery with depth of field the introduction of focus masks really excites me. For one it saves time, which in my world means everything, secondly it’s a great tool for expanding my creativity.

Perpetual Innovation

At this point in my creative career the amount of time saved by just these features alone has to be something in the range of weeks if not longer. With that being said, I look forward to personally testing the new focus mask feature in the upcoming update to the Adobe Creative Cloud.

Tech Note: Currently I’m using Photoshop 14.2.1 x64 on both Mac and Windows platforms.

Take a peek at the YouTube video below that demonstrates the Focus Mask feature.
