January 2013 in Review:
Breaking Records
I'm thrilled to report that January was a recording breaking month for SolarGravity.com - Not only in visits to the site, but to the amount of progress made in terms of development and design.
I can't even begin to tell you how productive this month has been for me. Staying true to my personal resolution of working on the site at night swapping watching television or aimlessly surfing the web for some serious hardcore creative sessions. Breaking way past the typical barriers that would at one time land me in an perpetual loop of tweaking cosmetic design issues only to reverse them the next day unraveling invested hours upon hours.
Developmental Triage
My new technique of developmental triage includes a plethora of organizational tools coupled with a method of rapid development bypassing wasting time on say tweaking designs or polishing my writing. You know I have always felt like I was moping a dirt floor. Regardless, this new methodology focuses on obtaining a foundation laying out the basic wireframe and then once the elements are in place and the birds eye view has been established you then attack the problems with milestones and eventually lock onto the target. While this seems ridiculously logical it's a hard habit to break, especially after the imperial conditioning that corporate America bestows upon us from the starting line of our first jobs.
Epic Summer Approaching
Nevertheless, I've written many articles, prepared hours and hours of research and have designed / developed an entire years worth of fun to share over what remains of these fleeting winter weeks. Good riddance to the cold!
Then begins what I hope to be an epic summer. I honestly can't wait to share with you what I have planned.
Don't miss out!
